Music

Every student in the school receives one music lesson a week. This is the same at KS2 – a real strength of the middle school system. On top of this, we also have a variety of instrumental teachers who offer paid tuition on a number of different instruments; drums, piano, guitar, woodwind, brass, singing and violin. Students are also able to sign up for a starter brass project, which offers free group tuition and the loan of an instrument for the year – an excellent opportunity!

We also offer a number of different extra-curricular opportunities, including two choirs and an orchestra. We have performed at churches in the local area, as well as taking one of our choirs to perform at the O2. We also have close links with Freman College and are always looking to collaborate where possible.
